Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) are the three major cannabis plant nutrients.

This tool works in conjunction with a dabbing rig, the nail is heated with a torch to vaporize cannabis hash oil when it is applied, which allows for it to be smoked. It is called a nail due to its resemblance of a nail with a thick head. When you heat the nail it will turn red, then you must allow it to cool just until the red color fades and place the cannabis on the head in order to heat and vaporize your smokables.

Nanometer (or nm)

One billionth of a meter (or 0.000000001 meter), nm is used as a scale to measure electromagnetic wavelengths of light - color and light spectrums are expressed in nanometers.

Necrosis (or Necrotic)

Localized death of a cannabis plant part due to injury or disease.

Not commonly used, nectar often refers to the process of making hash oil only from flower nugs, rather than trim.

Nitrogen (N)

An essential element for growing cannabis, it is one of the three major nutrients N-P-K.

A joint on the stem or the position on the cannabis plant from which leaves, shoots, or flowers grow.

An individual bud of cannabis is often referred to as a 'nug,' a reference to a gold nugget.

Nug Run

Hash oil extracted from cannabis that is made of all high quality nugs. Normally, hash oil would be derived from the smallest of nugs and other forms of cannabis trimmings, leaving the largest bits of the flower to be smoked normally. Because of this distinction from other hash oils, nug run has a particularly strong effect and delicious flavor.

A gardening business that grows plants for sale or experimentation - a nursery is a great place to gather information about horticulture.

Plant food, essential elements nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) is called 'N-P-K' for short as well as secondary and trace elements fundamental to sustaining plant life.
