A method of smoking cannabis which consists of hollowing out a cigar, filling it with cannabis, and re-rolling it. Blunts tend to be the favorite method of smoking at parties, because one blunt, even with a dozen people smoking it, can burn for a long time. The method was originally nicknamed after the Phillies Blunt brand of cigars. 'Dutchies' referring to blunts rolled from Dutch Master cigars, is another common name. People who avoid tobacco are generally averse to smoking blunts, because most cigar casings are made from tobacco leaf.
Tobacco-based rolling paper designed for people who enjoy rolling their own blunts. The paper mimics the casing of regular cigars, but can come in a wide variety of sizes and flavors. Blunt wraps are taxed as tobacco products in various states, and may require a license to sell.
A bong is usually a glass, ceramic, or plastic apparatus that is used to smoke cannabis flowers, herbal extracts, or tobacco. A bong, similar to a hookah, filters smoke through water so that it may be cooled before it is inhaled. In its simplest form, a bong consists of a bowl and a stem, but as the complexity and artisanship increases and the bong becomes more sophisticated, ash catchers, ice holders, and percolators may be incorporated. These additional 'contraptions' are intended to further purify and cleanse the smoke.
A very short or dwarfed cannabis plant.
The part of your cannabis instrument of choice (pipe or bong) where you pack (place) the bud. On pipes, there’s often a hole on the side of it that you cover when inhaling cannabis smoke. Alternatively, bowl can be used to refer to the pipe as a whole, or it can be used as a crude unit of measurement.
Small spur-like foliage that grows from the stem at the point from which flowers emerge.
Electrical circuit box having on/off switches rather than fuses, the main breaker box is also called a 'service panel.'
To sexually propagate cannabis under controlled circumstances.
A bubbler is essentially a cross between a pipe and a bong. It's like a pipe because it has the size and shape of a pipe, and also includes a hole or 'carb' on the side of the bowl. But it also usually has a bulb under the bowl to hold water, allowing water filtration just like in a bong. This is useful if you want something portable like a pipe that still has the potency of a bong. It is named for the sound the water makes when you smoke it.
Bud refers to the actual flower of the cannabis plant. These are the fluffy parts that are harvested and used for recreational or medicinal purposes as they contain the highest concentrations of active cannabinoids.
A withering condition that attacks cannabis' flowering buds.
A budder is the most potent solvent-extract cannabis product with a Tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC) concentration of up to 99.6%. The cannabis concentrate that is similar to wax but more pliable retains more of the terpenes so it tends to be more flavorful than other types of harsh oils.

They are usually very knowledgeable and will help guide you through your cannabis experience. Remember, they are there to help; if you have any questions from strain types to ingestion methods, feel free to ask.

Outer glass envelope or jacket that protects the arc tube of an High-Intensity Discharge (HID) lamp.

One of the most popular solvents used in earlier concentrate extraction methods. Butane is marginally cheaper than propane and can be used to produce a wide range of concentrate products.
Butane Hash Oil (or BHO)
A strong concentrate of cannabinoids that is obtained by immersing the cannabis plant in a solvent, normally butane leaving a stick and resinous liquid after the extraction process. It has a high concentration of Tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC) going up to 80% and is also referred to as 'honey oil,' 'earwax' or 'shatter,' depending on the mode of production. Butane hash oil can be smoked, vaporized directly or ingested by mixing it with other edible products.
