Dark, fertile, partially decomposed plant or animal matter - humus forms the organic portion of the soil.

Short for hydroponic, this system is a plant-growing technique that does not require soil. All the plant's nutrients are delivered through nutrients in the water, as opposed to the conventional method of topsoil. The traditional topsoil-farming methods require lots of land and space, but a hydroponic system is much more efficient in terms of plant-to-space ratio. The term hydro can also be another synonym for cannabis, but only when the cannabis has been grown in a hydroponic system.
This refers to an extraction process that utilizes hydrocarbon solvents such as butane, propane and hexane to separate the trichomes from the plant material. It is used to make a variety of cannabis concentrates. The process should be carried out in controlled environments as hydrocarbon solvents are volatile solvents and heavier than air hence tend to pool on the floor of a space that isn’t properly ventilated, resulting in dangerous explosions when ignited.
Light, colorless, odorless, highly flammable gas - hydrogen combines with oxygen to form water.
Hydroponics refers to a growing medium that utilizes a soilless system to cultivate cannabis plants. The method involves placing the growing seedlings in a solution of water and nutrients enabling the grower to control the environment that the plants are grown in. With hydroponics, variables like pH, nutrient levels and temperature are easily controlled unlike a soil ecosystem that can be difficult to control plant’s environment.
Instrument for measuring relative humidity in the atmosphere.
